4th March 2018 (Sunday), Sunny Day
Hi, It's Moey! :)
Okay, so it has been a long time since me and my friend talk
about the food in Balik Pulau.
So we think, why not we make a trip there and also introduce the
beauty of the island to more and more people?
Let me 'Wiki' Balik Pulau for a bit here shall I?
Balik Pulau basically is famous for it's agriculture.
It produce a lot of nutmeg, durian and cloves.
From Georgetown to Balik Pulau takes around 30-40 minutes by car.

My all time favorite -- Kim Laksa ❤️

Titi Kerawang Waterfall

Finally it's time for something refreshing!!
Along the way to the waterfall, there are quite a lot of stalls line up beside the road to sell fruits, souvenirs, you name it!

The way reaching to the waterfall is kind of difficult to go through.
Its kinda rocky and slippery.
So we basically just climb like a monkey and help each other through with it.
Its kinda fun though, suitable for those who like to take adventure.

The waterfall is not big but full of people.
PS: They come for picnic.
The water is refreshing, I can say it is quite clean as well.
we made our stop here, enjoy and relax for a while before we move on to our next destination.

Heng Ga Cafe

Technically, we did not plan on visiting this cafe but we discover this amazing place when we are on our way back from the waterfall.
This place is just simply breath-taking, cozy, serene, and calm.
Super good place to just relax your soul and call it a day.

This cafe just fully launch one month ago during our visit time,
so it's kinda new and not much people who know this place.
It is run by 2-3 Japaneses who are incredibly friendly! :)
They offer
Beverage
PS: What I can remember, some.
- Freshly brewed aromatic coffee
- Traditional Japanese Tea
- Traditional Japanese Matcha
- Homemade Lemonade (Highly recommended!!)
Food
- Balik Pulau Famous Asam Laksa
- Cookies
One of the interesting finding here is there is a meditating kind of room where it is open for the public.
We met a female monk there who are helping to run the business, she is kind enough to help one of our friend who is not feeling well to massage and also meditating.

This is by far the most "Instagram-worthy" destination throughout the whole trip.
It is a mini kind of beach where the scenery is beyond beautiful.
The breeze is nice, the weather is nice,
the PHOTOS are definitely the best!

OOTD
I keep it rather simple when comes to outing for the whole day.
I basically just put on what looks effortless yet pretty,
of course, comfortable is my priority.
So this is my OOTD for the trip, hope you like it! :)
